Small Groups
Two women’s Bible studies meet during the school year on Wednesdays--one at noon and the other in the evening. Women and couples are welcome at many other Bible studies, as well. A no-homework summer study is meeting now on Wednesday evenings. See the small groups page for details.
Friday Night Chats
Chats are for women of all ages to gather at a hostess’ home and just have a fun time chatting. There is no program, no need to RSVP, no need to bring food (but you can if you want to) and no need to plan anything except being there! The chat is the second Friday of every month at 7:30pm. It’s a great way to relax after a busy week with old and new friends. If you’d like to host a chat or have any questions, please contact Priscilla Rose.
Women’s Retreat
Our women’s retreat is held each spring, usually in the Montereyarea. It’s a great opportunity to escape the
pressures of work, home and family and spend time gettingbetter acquainted withGod and other women. The weekend alsoincludes “Prize Patrol” giveaways and free time on Saturday afternoon to hike, shop, golf, sleep or go to a spa. Signups for the 2009 retreat will begin in Decemer 2008. Helpers for the retreat committee are always needed and welcome. Contact Emily Head.
Women’s Breakfasts and Teas
Occasionally we set aside a time to have breakfast or teatogether and listen to an inspirational talk by one of our own or an outside speaker. And at least once a year, we are treated to a combined breakfast with the men—and they do the cooking! For more information contact Kelly Wiese.
Mom’s Group
The Mom’s Group helps mothers of young children connect and relate with one another through informal times of fellowship. They plan monthly outings with their children and dinner out for moms only six times a year. Check the calendar for upcoming meetings. For additional information contact Lisa Sears.
