Small groups are the heart of Canyon Creek Church. Most of our groups are about 6-10 people
who meet weekly for conversation, a Bible or book study, and prayer. You get to know people, form friendships, and learn about God and His kind of life from the Bible. It’s one of the best ways to get connected at Canyon Creek and grow spiritually. Many groups also enjoy occasional dinners together and other outings, such as the group shown below competing in a recent Relay for Life.
Please contact Dale Holmgren or Assistant Pastor Travis Marsh for more information: 925-498-9803.
Don't take the summer off from growing in faith! Our pastors are conducting 10-week discussion groups on the book, The Gospel in Life by Tim Keller. Travis Marsh's group will meet Tuesdays beginning June 15 and Marty Scales' group will meet Thursdays, beginning June 17. Both groups will meet from 7:00 - 8:30 PM in room 201. To participate, simply buy the book and sign up by email or on a Get Acquainted card on Sunday mornings. If you will need childcare, please let us know when you sign up so we can work on meeting your needs.
Do you yearn for a deeper knowledge of the Scriptures? Do you believe in God but are not sure if Jesus is the "only Way"? Do you enjoy church and the fellowship it brings but still feel that your spiritual life is lacking something?
Canyon Creek has mentors available who will meet with you, one on one, to discuss your thoughts, doubts and questions about some of the deepest issues of the Bible. Pastor Scales has developed a discipleship study and brought several people through the program. They are excited to meet with others who might like to be mentored through this same program.
Canyon Creek also offers "all men" or "all women" accountability groups. For more information on mentoring or accountability groups, please contact Senior Pastor Marty Scales or Assistant Pastor Travis Marsh.
If you are interested in leading a small group, contact Marty Scales.
