MUSIC ROCKS AT CANYON CREEK CHURCH
Contemporary Christian music is an integral part of worship at Canyon Creek Church. If you like to sing or can play an instrument, there are many opportunities to get involved.

Worship Band
Talented instrumental and vocal musicians enhance our Sunday morning worship services with music selected to reinforce the sermon message. The band includes both professional and amateur musicians. Most members of the band play every week, but occasional soloists and special instrumental performances are welcome. For more information, contact Music Director Ann Hughes.

Worship Singers
If you love to sing praise songs, we’d love to have you join our Worship Singers. You’ll be part of a team of five or six people who sing together informally on stage during Sunday services, leading the congregation and providing back-up vocals to the Worship Leader. You’ll sing on just one Sunday out of every six and rehearsals are held just before the service starts. Adults, junior high and high school singers are all welcome! Easter and Christmas Chorales
Twice a year we form a chorale to sing the special music of the Christmas and Easter seasons. The chorale performs several times in the weeks leading up to Christmas and Easter and weekly rehearsals begin at least two months in advance. It’s helpful if you can read music and have some experience singing in harmony, but not essential. The chorale performs under the direction of Janice Monkowski, a piano instructor and accomplished vocalist who sings with the Valley Concert Chorale. Contact her for more information.

Youth Ministry Music Team
Music is an important part of the children’s Discoveryland program on Sunday morning as well as The Refuge high school meeting on Tuesday nights and The Stronghold junior high meeting on Wednesday nights.
