DISCOVERYLAND

Discoveryland is the Sunday morning children’s program at Canyon Creek Church. Our goal is for Discoveryland to be the best hour in your child's week. Our dedicated volunteer teachers create a safe and nurturing environment where your child can enjoy learning about a relationship with God.

Instead of sitting through the adult worship service, our kids have their own time of worship, learning and fellowship. We are currently using the Gospel Light curriculum, which offers age-appropriate materials for all levels. Filled with music, games, crafts, Bible story time and small group interaction, our programs provide exciting and vibrant learning opportunities.

Classes are available for children from age 3 through fifth grade. Nursery care is provided for younger children. Junior high and high school students are dismissed to their classes from the adult service.

Your child is welcome in Discoveryland from the first Sunday you visit Canyon Creek. Pre-kindergardners stay in their classroom for the entire service. Older children start the morning in the Gathering Hall, then move to their indivdual classrooms. A Lobby Host will be happy to show you your child's classroom and introduce you to the teacher. For safety, children in pre-K through third grade must be signed in and out.
